2. WAREHOUSE PROCESSES

2.1. Receipt of goods (quick)

Receipt of pallets from the truck without quantity control of the items (goods). It is because drivers are often only responsible for the pallets but not for the items stored on pallets. It enables fast in-stock.

2.2. Receipt of goods (itemized)

- Itemized receipt of pallets
- Barcode printed for each pallet for identification
- Different items (goods) on a pallet can be stored in SelExped Crossdock separetely.
Attention! In SelExped Crossdock there is no Master File (Data) of items (goods). Items (goods) are identified by description.

2.3. Ex-stock

You can handle commission room at ex-stock. The system registers the goods which are already carried to the commission room and offers it at first for ex-stock. When the commission room becomes empty, it makes an offer from where it would be the most practical to ex-stock the goods.

In case of ex-stock without commission room, the system will handle the residue stock on pallet. In case of more, physically separated warehouses or halls you can follow-up the relocation process. With giving a goal function, the program can give a recommendation to reasonable relocations.

2.4. Tracking of customs formalities

The customs formalities processes of each item (goods) can be tracked with customs status codes. Custom status codes can be updated. Dates of modifications are stored. 

3. BARCODE SYSTEM

Each in-stock item is stored under a unique identifier, thereby giving the possibility to set up a barcode system. See further details of SelExped Stock PDA.
