SelExped distribution warehouse

SelExped's distribution warehouse module was developed for such shipping companies, which intend to offer a full distribution service to their customers. Renter of the distribution warehouse regularly orders the shipping company, where and what amount they have to deliver from its stock. Organizing warehouse registration and daily routes is the job of the shipping company. SelExped program is able to receive orders in an electronic format. If an incoming claim cannot be accomplished, it will be rejected, the correct ones will be scheduled. The program will print all the documents needed for in-stock, ex-stock or relocation, such as movement list, stock list, diary, waybill, work order, commission list, warehouse map. The program gives ordinal numbers to the stored goods, and this gives possibility to apply barcode system. The ex-stock catalog can be directly transferred to transport organizing module of SelExped, where it is possible to assign vehicles to the distribution orders, and the daily transport tasks can be planned.

Master file

The basic data table of SelExped's warehouse module is functionally linked to the basic data table of the shipping module. You can select addresses of renters and warehouses from the customers' basic data. All the goods has to be assigned to a customer in the goods basic database. Here you can store detailed information about the goods, such as registration method (piece-goods or bulk goods), ex-stock order (FIFO, LIFO, by expiry date or manual). The program can store the stock in 4 different packages. You can get information about the stock in whole, or the packaging units separately. The data of storage places are held in a separate master file. Here you can also control the occupancy, which serves as a quick warehouse map as well.

In-stock, ex-stock, relocation

In SelExped, the in-stock data can be registered either manually, or in an electronic way. Each in-stock item is stored under a unique identifier, therefore it gives a possibility to set up a barcode system. The storage places can be assigned automatically, according to the order defined in the master file. The program is able to handle the storage system of both "drive in" and "back to back" warehouses. There is a possibility of handling LOT numbers, and list the inventories by LOT numbers. You can also handle commission room at ex-stock. The system registers the goods, which is already carried to the commission room, and offers it at first for ex-stock. When the commission room becomes empty, it makes an offer from where it would be the most practical to ex-stock the goods. In case of ex-stock without commission room, the system will handle the residue stock on pallet. 

In case of more, physically separated warehouses or halls you can follow-up the relocation process. With giving a goal function, the program can give a recommendation to reasonable relocations.

Warehouse map, stock information

In the basic data table of storage places you can get a window of a quick overview map selected by different aspects at any time. We deliver the program with the elementary stock lists and movement journal. There is also a possibility to produce a number of lists and reports according to your requirements, and these can be either directly printed out or electronically forwarded to the customer. The depth and sequence of the data lines can be varied, they can also be formatted to your requests.

Connection with other modules of SelExped, external data connection

The warehouse module has integral connection with the other modules of SelExped Shipping Management System. The master files of goods and customers are fully permeable for both the shipping and the warehousing section. There is a possibility to transfer ex-stock waybills to shipping orders. Warehouse movements related accounts can be directly recorded for the invoicing section. You can also register warehouse and shipping service accounts in the same invoice. SelExped program is able to get connected to all systems that have some kind of input or output interface.
